Session Syllabus
Pre-Dive Briefing
Your instructor covers the basics of scuba equipment, hand signals, and what to expect underwater. No prior knowledge needed.
Equipment Familiarisation
Get fitted with your BCD, regulator, mask, fins, and wetsuit. All equipment is included and professionally maintained.
Shallow Water Skills
Practice breathing underwater, clearing your mask, and basic buoyancy in the shallow end of our heated pool.
Guided Pool Dive
Explore the pool with your instructor by your side. Experience true weightlessness and the magic of breathing underwater.
Post-Dive Debrief
Discuss your experience, ask questions, and find out how to progress to the full PADI Open Water Diver course.
What to Expect
Prerequisites
- No prior diving experience required
- Must be 10 years or older
- Basic swimming ability (able to swim 200m)
- Reasonably good health, no serious medical conditions
- Complete a simple medical questionnaire on the day
Schedule & Location
When: Monday evenings, meet 6:45pm, pool 7:30–9:00pm
Where: Padiham Leisure Centre, Park Road, Padiham, Burnley, BB12 8ED
