Water Diver
Expand your skills and dive to 30 metres. Complete 5 adventure dives including deep diving and underwater navigation. The natural next step after Open Water certification.
Course Syllabus
Deep Adventure Dive
Mandatory dive. Descend to 30 metres and learn to manage the effects of depth, including nitrogen narcosis and air consumption.
Underwater Navigation
Mandatory dive. Master compass navigation and natural references to find your way underwater and return to your starting point.
Adventure Dive 3
Choose from Peak Performance Buoyancy, Wreck, Night, Drift, or other speciality adventure dives based on your interests.
Adventure Dive 4
Second elective dive. Your instructor will recommend options based on your goals and local dive site conditions.
Adventure Dive 5 & Certification
Final elective dive. Complete your 5 adventure dives and receive your PADI Advanced Open Water Diver certification.
What You Need
Prerequisites
- PADI Open Water Diver certification (or equivalent)
- Must be 12 years or older
- No minimum number of logged dives required
- Complete a medical questionnaire
- Recommended: at least a few dives since Open Water
Schedule & Inclusions
Format: Typically completed over 2 days at open water dive sites
Sites: UK quarry and lake sites, arranged around your availability
Included: All equipment hire, PADI crew pack, certification card, travel to site
Next step: PADI Rescue Diver or Speciality courses
